In the media:
“Also in the new Pick and Pocket episodes we can find playful language and playing with a literal and metaphorical meaning /…/, as well as humorous details /…/ on appealing colorful illustrations that somehow seem effortless which corresponds to fast changes of the scenes and fast course of actions.”
Gaja Kos, acclaimed Slovenian critic
“All seven comic book episodes are characterized by Majda Koren’s warm humor that is exciting for both children and adults. The pigs are fooling around, but because they are not too bright nor evil, and because their foolishness always slaps them back, the reader always sides with them, too. Damijan Stepančič’s drawing with strong contours and color planes skillfully realizes the lively happenings and the humorous side of the text. The comic book is a first-rate reading also for children who are not (yet) drawn to longer texts. Highly recommended!”
